Product description

Highly concentrated solution for adding copper if there are deficits in the aquarium.

Copper is a transition metal that plays an important role in metabolism as a trace element, e.g. in eliminating oxygen radicals. It brightens coral colors and makes the pocillopor in pigments in pink and blue glow. In the sea, it occurs in low concentration levels of up to 3 μg/l. In an aquarium, measured values of up to 10 μg/ l (ppb) are considered harmless, as it is not completely bio available.

Water, organic and inorganic copper salts, stabilizers

 

Application & Dosage

1 ml per 100 l/ 26 US-gal. aquarium volume increases the copper content by 0.5 µg/l(ppb).

Maximum dosage: 2 ml per100 l/ 26 US-gal. (adding 1 μg/l (ppb)) daily.

Store in a cool and dark place.

 

Other product recommendations

Zinc,chromium and gallium are consumed in the same ratio as copper, therefore we recommend adding them at the same time. For easy dosing of these elements with just a single solution, we recommend Tropic Marin®Block Zinc.

We recommend checking the copper content and other water values regularly with Tropic Marin® ICP Water Analysis or Tropic Marin® ICP Water Analysis Plus.
