Product description

Highly concentrated solution for adding nickel if there are deficits in the aquarium.

Nickel is a transition metal and, as a trace element, it enhances coral growth. It deepens and strengthens coral coloration (red + turquoise) by improving the absorption of nitrogen compounds. Basal disk formation can be problematic if the nickel content is too low. Bright colors and sharp contrasts are also difficult to achieve without nickel. In the sea, it occurs in very low concentration levels of 0.5 - 2 μg/l (ppb).

Water, organic and inorganic nickel salts, stabilizers

 

Application & Dosage

1 ml per 100 l/ 26 US-gal. aquarium volume increases the nickel content by 1 μg/l(ppb).

Maximum dosage: 2 ml per100 l/ 26 US-gal. (adding 2 μg/l (ppb)) daily.

Store in a cool and dark place.

 

Other product recommendations

Manganese,iron, cobalt and boron are consumed in the same ratio as nickel, therefore we recommend adding them at the same time. For easy dosing of these elements with just a single solution, we recommend Tropic Marin® Block Nickel.

We recommend checking the nickel content and other water values regularly with Tropic Marin® ICP Water Analysis or Tropic Marin® ICP Water Analysis Plus.
