Product description

Highly concentrated solution for adding rubidium if there are deficits in the aquarium.
Rubidium is an alkali metal and, like all alkali metals, is distributed evenly in the sea, whereas the concentration is only 120 µg/l (ppb). The precise biological function of rubidium is still unclear. In reef aquariums, it is believed to be beneficial for coloration and skeletal hardness.

Application & Dosage

5 ml per 100 l/ 26 US-gal. aquarium volume increases the rubidium content by 25 μg/l(ppb).

Maximum dosage: 5 ml per100 l/ 26 US-gal. (adding 25 μg/l (ppb)) daily.

Store in a cool and dark place.

 

Other product recommendations

Molybdenum, vanadium, tungsten, tellurium and hafnium are consumed in the same ratio as rubidium, therefore we recommend adding them at the same time. For easy dosing of these elements with just a single solution, we recommend Tropic Marin® Block Molybdenum.

We recommend checking the rubidium content and other water values regularly with Tropic Marin® ICP Water Analysis or Tropic Marin® ICP Water Analysis Plus.
