Product description

Highly concentrated solution for adding strontium if there are deficits in the aquarium.

As an alkaline earth metal, strontium is essential for skeletal growth in stony corals and calcareous red algae. If concentrations are too low, this can impair the color and growth of stony corals and calcareous red algae. It is found in the sea in concentration levels of approx. 8 mg/l (ppm).

Water,inorganic strontium salts

 

Application & Dosage

5 ml per 100 l/ 26 US-gal. aquarium volume increases the strontium content by 1 mg/l(ppm).

Maximum dosage: 10 ml per 100 l/ 26 US-gal. (adding 2 mg/l (ppm)) daily.

Store in a cool and dark place.

 

Other product recommendations

Barium is consumed in the same ratio as strontium, therefore we recommend adding it at the same time. For easy dosing of these elements with just a single solution,we recommend Tropic Marin® Block Strontium.

We recommend checking the strontium content and other water values regularly with Tropic Marin® ICP Water Analysis or Tropic Marin® ICP Water Analysis Plus.
